The Central Ohio Hot Jazz Society invites you to come and dance to the live music of great classic jazz bands at our events, and also those held at area venues that we know about where our kind of music is played and a large dance floor exists. COHJS hosts jazz bands of local, regional, or national fame, typically 5 or 6 times per year, at The Makoy Center, 5482 Center Street, in Hilliard. In addition, we help promote classic jazz dance events locally, the latest taking place at Columbus Maennerchor, 966 S. High St., Columbus.

Upcoming events include:

Friday, March 28, 2008 from 8-11 p.m. at the Maennerchor: The North Side Jazz Band. Dinner and bar available. ($5 cover).

Sunday, April 6, 2008 from 2 - 5 p.m.at the Makoy Center: The West End Jazz Band from Chicago. Swing dancers $10 admission.
